swift – iOS deeplinks not working when the app is totally closed

[ad_1]

In our app we’ve a deeplink that when tapped it opens the app to our homepage after which do a push to a different part.

When the app is open within the background it really works correctly however when the app is totally closed it simply opens the app, land within the homePage and it stays there.

Within the AppDelegate we deal with deeplinks on this approach:

func software(_ software: UIApplication, proceed userActivity: NSUserActivity,
                     restorationHandler: @escaping ([UIUserActivityRestoring]?) -> Void) -> Bool {

        guard userActivity.activityType == NSUserActivityTypeBrowsingWeb,
            let incomingURL = userActivity.webpageURL else { return false }

            // Right here we name a way to deal with the deeplink and open the proper web page

        return true
    }

Right here is our json file for the deeplinks

{
 "applinks": {
   "apps": [],
   "particulars": [
     {
       "appID": "appIdOne",
       "paths": [
         "*"
       ]
     },
     {
       "appID": "appIdTwo",
       "paths": [
         "*"
       ]
     },
     {
       "appID": "appIdThree",
       "paths": [
         "*"
       ]
     }
   ]
 }
}

Is there one thing lacking?

Studying one other reply to an identical query iOS Deep hyperlink callbacks not working when the app is closed

the problem could also be that we do not have “content_available” : true discipline in our file. If it is the case the place ought to we add that discipline?

Thanks upfront.
